In order to assist you in going on exchange, THUAS has made arrangements with certain other universities around the world in the form of contracts. These contracts ensure that student exchange operates on a fee-waiving basis, which means that you pay your regular tuition fees to THUAS. You do not pay tuition fees at the exchange university because you are exempted from paying fees for tuition, registration, examinations et cetera.
If there is no agreement between our institutions, you can still go as a so-called free mover, meaning you will pay tuition fees at the receiving institution. We do not recommend this, as it is usually pricey and you will be responsible for all the paperwork.
